Student Research Opportunities
I am accepting applications for PhD students who are interested in knowledge organization. I'm specifically interested in working with students who want to study (1) scheme change and subject ontogeny, (2) ethics of information organization, (3) descriptive informatics and comparative studies of metadata regimes, and (4) large-scale metadata enhancement. Of course, if you have another idea, let me know! I'm interested in working with students who program as well as those that do theoretical or qualitative social science. The Ontō Group is a multidisciplinary group.
If you are not a PhD student in the Information School, but are interested in research, please contact me. We have a number of ways you can participate in research. You can register for classes or volunteer your time. Please contact me and we can find the best fit for you and your schedule.
